Statements of Faith
(Based on the Apostles Creed through the written Word.)
Almighty Maker
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
Savior
We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord and Savior.
Conception
Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
Risen
Jesus lived, suffered, died, was buried, descended into hell, and rose to life.
Ascended
Jesus ascended into heaven and is seated with God the Father.
Return
Jesus will come again to judge the living and dead.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives.
The Church
We believe in the universal church and communion of the believers.
Eternal Life
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
Core Values
Purpose & Passion
Jesus Christ gives our lives purpose and passion to serve Him and others.
Scripture
We read, study, and meditate on Scripture to understand It in Its context, culture, original language, and apply Its meaning to our lives today.
Partners
We encourage all partners to join in fellowship of regular attendance of gatherings, worshiping in song, prayer, communion, eating together, and teaching God's word as essentials in Christ's likeness being formed in us.
Outreach
We reach beyond ourselves to share the Gospel with others in our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, towns, cities, state, and worldwide.
Advancement
Partnerships exist to grow the body of believers in our communities and around the world to advance the Kingdom of God.
Hope
Our hope is based upon Jesus Christ's resurrected body and that He will resurrect our bodies to be renewed and changed for all of eternity.
Human Life
We believe in the sacredness of human life from conception until natural death and respect for all people.
Imago Dei
Everyone is created in the image of God.
Marriage
We believe God's plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and women as unique biological persons made to complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female.
